Robert Cortopassi, President

Leading the OpenEdge organization, Bob possesses more than 20 years’ experience in the POS, eCommerce and payment technology sectors. He is active in the Electronic Transaction Association, the PCI Security Standards Council and several industry advisory boards. With OpenEdge forerunner, Accelerated Payment Technologies, he was instrumental in growing the organization from a small point-of-sale software provider to a leading technology ISO. Bob’s background includes sales, networking, security and software development.
Robyn Thompson

Robyn Thompson, Vice President, Human Resources

Robyn Bedell Thompson is responsible for fulfilling OpenEdge’s human resources strategy to create an exceptional employment experience. This includes: talent management, compensation, performance management, team member and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, diversity and inclusion. Previously, Robyn served as VP Human Resources for Accelerated Payment Technologies, as well as in various executive and consulting human resources roles with WDE, eMachines, American Commercial Capital and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College and holds a Masters in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.

Jim Hightower, Senior Vice President, Operations

A customer service/call center veteran with more than two decades of experience, Mr. Hightower oversees merchant and technical support, credit, risk and underwriting operations in addition to managing the Client Success organization. Prior to his time at OpenEdge, Jim held senior level positions with AT&T and Brinks Home Security. A frequent speaker and panelist, he maintains a focus on customer experience and world-class information delivery. Jim has managed three customer contact centers earning the prestigious JD Power Award for Customer Service. He earned his Master’s degree in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
 Matt Hyde, Vice President, Sales

Matt Hyde, Vice President, Sales

As the VP of Sales at OpenEdge, Matt Hyde leads the new partner acquisition, developer services, strategic partner management and merchant sales teams. Previously, Matt has been trusted to oversee merchant sales at APT and marketing, account management and business development at NMI. Having varied experience in both integrated payments solutions and payment gateway technology has given Matt a broad understanding of the payments landscape. Matt is excited to leverage that experience along with his track record of building and leading highly productive and competent sales teams to delight OpenEdge's customers.
